Terms of service
Article 1: Scope and Modification of the Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions apply to the use of the "CODE Meee STORE" operated by CODE Meee Inc. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").
- Any modifications to these terms and conditions shall be deemed accepted by the member when they use the CODE Meee STORE after the Company has disclosed the modified content on the CODE Meee STORE.
Article 2: Members
- In these terms and conditions, "member" refers to those who have applied for membership registration in accordance with the prescribed procedures of the Company, having fully understood and accepted the contents of these terms and conditions, as well as those who make purchases on the CODE Meee STORE without applying for membership registration.
- "Member information" refers to information about the member's attributes and transaction history related to the member's disclosure to the Company.
- The member registration process must be carried out by the individual themselves. Registration by proxy is not permitted.
- Minors may not apply for membership registration without the prior consent of a legal representative with legal qualifications.

Password and Account Security
- Information required for login (referred to as "password and account information") can only be used by the member themselves and cannot be transferred or lent to third parties.
- Members are responsible for managing their password and account information, including regularly changing them to prevent them from being known to others.
- Any statements of intent made to the Company using the password and account information will be considered the member's own statements of intent, and any resulting payments or obligations will be the responsibility of the member.
- The Company will send necessary notifications to members at the registered member information. In some cases, notifications may also be posted on the CODE Meee STORE.
- Members agree to receive necessary communications from the Company via the email address mentioned above or through notifications posted on the CODE Meee STORE.
- The Company shall not be responsible for any non-delivery of emails due to input errors in the email address, email reception environment settings of email software and security software, spam countermeasures by the provider, or the use of free email addresses. Please ensure that you register a valid email address that can receive messages correctly.
- Necessary communications from the Company will be deemed to have reached the member when they are sent by email from the Company or when they are posted as notifications on the website.
- If a member wishes to withdraw from membership, they must follow the withdrawal procedure as stipulated by the Company.
Article 3: Use of CODE Meee STORE
- Members shall use the CODE Meee STORE in accordance with laws, regulations, notifications, these terms and conditions, and the Company's separately specified privacy policy.
- The Company does not guarantee that the content of the CODE Meee STORE will be applicable to all member environments and operate correctly. Access to the CODE Meee STORE is at the member's discretion, and the member is responsible for the use of the CODE Meee STORE.
Article 4: Purchase of Goods
- Members may purchase goods using the CODE Meee STORE. If a member wishes to purchase goods, they must follow the ordering procedure specified by the CODE Meee STORE.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of this article, if there is any fraudulent or inappropriate conduct regarding the use of the CODE Meee STORE, the Company may cancel or terminate the sales contract or take other appropriate measures.
- The Company strives to ensure that the displayed product information on the CODE Meee STORE is accurate. However, all information (product specifications, images, specifications, etc.) displayed should not be guaranteed to be accurate.
- After the conclusion of a sales contract (for certain products, such as ordered items, after the order is confirmed), cancellations by the member's convenience will not be accepted, as a general rule.
Article 5: Sale Prices of Goods

The sale prices of goods displayed on the CODE Meee STORE are made
every effort to be accurately displayed. In the event that the sale
price of a product is displayed incorrectly, the following shall
apply, and sales (billing) at the incorrect displayed price will not
be conducted, regardless of whether the sales contract has been
concluded before or after the error was discovered.
- If the sale price displayed on the CODE Meee STORE is higher than the fair price determined by the Company, the product will be sold (billed) at the fair price determined by the Company.
- If the sale price displayed on the CODE Meee STORE is lower than the fair price determined by the Company, the member will be informed of the fair price and asked to continue the order at the fair price or cancel the order.
- The sale prices of goods may fluctuate constantly due to various reasons such as the holding of various sales, sales conditions, and inventory status.
- In the event that the sale price of a product changes after an order is placed, no price adjustments or guarantees for price differences will be made.
Article 6: Payment Methods
- The payment amount for goods includes the purchase price of the goods, including consumption tax, and the total amount of optional fees and charges related to the purchase.
- Payment for goods purchased through the CODE Meee STORE is limited to payment by credit card in the name of the member themselves, or other payment methods authorized by the Company.
- If payment is made by credit card, it shall be subject to the conditions separately agreed upon between the member and the credit card company. In the event of any dispute between the member and the credit card company or any other related issues arising from the use of a credit card, the member and the credit card company shall be responsible for resolving it.
Article 7: Delivery
The Company will bear the shipping costs associated with the delivery of goods.
Article 8: Returns, Exchanges, and Defective Products
The Company does not accept returns or exchanges based on the "Specific Commercial Transaction Information" separately stipulated.
Article 9: Handling of Personal Information
The Company handles the personal information of members in accordance with the separately specified "Privacy Policy".
Article 10: Changes and Suspension of Services
The Company may change, add to, suspend, or discontinue all services related to the CODE Meee STORE without prior notice to members and without the consent of members. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members as a result of such changes, additions, suspensions, or discontinuations, except for reasons attributable to the Company's negligence.
Article 11: Intellectual Property Rights
- Rights regarding the images, text, designs, logos, videos, programs, ideas, information, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Content") provided through the CODE Meee STORE shall belong to the Company and its business partners.
- Except for the Content provided by the Company's business partners, all other Content shall exclusively belong to the Company.
- Members shall not use or disclose the copyrighted materials, including the Content provided through the CODE Meee STORE, beyond the scope of personal use permitted under the copyright law without the consent of the rights holder.
- In the event of any intellectual property issues arising from a violation of the provisions of this article, the member shall resolve such issues at their own expense and responsibility and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to the Company.
Article 12: Prohibited Actions
Members shall not engage in the following actions when using the CODE Meee STORE. The Company may suspend or terminate the provision of the service, discontinue transactions, or force withdrawal of the member without prior notice if the member's actions fall under the following prohibited actions, as determined by the Company.
- Actions that may cause harm or damage to other users, third parties, or the Company, or actions that may have the potential to cause such harm or damage.
- Actions that infringe upon the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, personality rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of other users, third parties, or the Company, or actions that may have the potential to infringe upon such rights.
- Actions that violate public order and morals, or actions that violate laws or may have the potential to violate laws.
- Actions of registering false information.
- Actions of using the Content obtained through the CODE Meee STORE beyond the scope of personal use.
- Actions of reproducing, selling, publishing, distributing, publicly displaying, or engaging in similar acts with the Content obtained through the CODE Meee STORE through other users or third parties.
- Actions of collecting, storing, or saving personal information of other users.
- Actions of uploading or transmitting Content such as computer viruses, computer code, files, or programs that are designed to interfere with, destroy, or limit the functionality of computer software, hardware, or communication equipment to the CODE Meee STORE, or through means such as email.
- Actions that violate these Terms of Service or have the potential to do so.
- Any other actions that the Company reasonably deems inappropriate, such as actions that damage or undermine the Company's credibility.
Article 13: Disclaimer
- If the Company determines that it has an obligation to notify the member, the Company shall fulfill its obligation by sending notifications to the member's registered address or email address in the member information. Regarding the delivery of products, the Company shall fulfill its obligation by delivering the products to the shipping address specified by the member at the time of purchase.
- The Company has the right to freely change, delete, or add to the configuration, content, and other aspects of the CODE Meee STORE, and is not obligated to restore the previous state before the changes, deletions, or additions were made in response to member requests. The same applies to the overall EC system, including programs and databases.
- Members shall bear the expenses related to the preparation and installation of the computer equipment and communication equipment necessary for using this service, as well as the communication fees such as telephone and fax charges, internet connection fees, line usage fees, labor costs, and all other expenses required to use this service.
- Except as otherwise stipulated in these Terms of Service and related agreements, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the member due to reasons not attributable to the Company. However, if the member incurs damages due to the Company's intentional or grossly negligent acts, the Company's liability for compensation shall be limited to the purchase price of the relevant product or service (excluding cases where the Company has intentional or grossly negligent acts).

Even if the provision of this service is temporarily suspended,
interrupted, or modified, the Company shall not be liable for any
damages, losses, disadvantages, etc. directly or indirectly suffered
by the member, under the following circumstances:
- Occurrence of natural disasters such as fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, heavy snow, etc.
- Occurrence of social unrest such as war, civil unrest, terrorism, riots, etc.
- Inability to receive appropriate services from the telephone company, transportation company, or provider contracted by the Company.
- Technical impossibility arises for the Company.
- The Company shall be exempted from liability and considered to have fulfilled its obligations by processing administrative tasks in accordance with the member information.
- In the event that a member causes any damage or harm to other users or third parties through the use of the CODE Meee STORE, the member shall be responsible for resolving such matters at their own expense and liability, and shall not cause any damages, losses, disadvantages, etc. to the Company.
Article 14: Information Management
- The Company may freely use all or part of the Content posted by users in relation to the CODE Meee STORE at its discretion. The Company shall not require any payment to be made to the contributors for the use of such Content.

For the purpose of investigating the access history and usage status
of CODE Meee STORE users, or for improving the services provided to
CODE Meee STORE users, the Company collects the following
information related to the access history of CODE Meee STORE users.
However, cookies issued by the Company are used for effective
advertising delivery purposes and will not be used for the
collection of personal information or other purposes.
- Information related to the IP address or mobile device identification number of CODE Meee STORE users when accessing the service's server.
- Access information of CODE Meee STORE users obtained through the use of cookies (a technology that temporarily writes data to the user's computer through a web browser to record and store the last visit date to a website, the number of visits to that site, etc.).
- CODE Meee STORE users acknowledge in advance that if they set their web browser to reject cookies, the use of this service may be restricted.
Article 15: Service Maintenance
In order to maintain the operational status of all services related to CODE Meee STORE, the Company may temporarily suspend or discontinue the provision of all or part of the service without prior notice to the member in the following cases:
- In the case of regular maintenance and emergency maintenance of the computer system ("System").
- In the event of natural disasters such as fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, heavy snow, etc., making it difficult to operate the System.
- In the event of social unrest such as war, civil unrest, terrorism, riots, etc., making it difficult to operate the System.
- In the event of system failure, unauthorized access by third parties, infection of computer viruses, or other reasons that make it difficult to operate the System.
- When appropriately requested by administrative or judicial agencies.
- In other cases where the temporary suspension or discontinuation of the System is deemed necessary by the Company.
Article 16: Miscellaneous
These Terms of Service shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Japanese law.
- In the event of any problems that cannot be resolved by these Terms of Service, the member and the Company shall make sincere efforts to resolve them through discussions.
- In the event of a dispute between the member and the Company, regardless of the amount of the claim, the Yokohama District Court shall be the exclusive agreed-upon court of first instance.
